I understand, it's just that for me, titles don't matter at all. I have a picture titled, "RAINBOWS!!! DD". LOL. I now know that it is NOT scuba, yes, but I still don't think that it really matters. Also, the mask thing is not in her mouth because that wouldn't 'look nice'. (I'm not being sarcastic.) Art is a form of expression and/or simply a pretty picture. It's natural to want to make it as beautiful as you can.
Yeah, yeah, whatever. It's a snorkel, by the way, though I'm also a little confused as to how she can see without her mask over her eyes. If the cat is supposed to simply look good, then, why not make it simply a catgirl underwater or a cat-mermaid or something that doesn't require equipment to be underwater without dying a slow and horrible death? All I'm saying it the artist should have made sure they knew the definition of "scuba" before using it in a picture.
I get what you mean, but to me there's no difference. LOL
Regarding the looking-good thing, it's hard to explain. I'm not the artist, so I wouldn't know, but if I had drawn it I would probably have done the same thing simply because it 'looked right'. But I guess different people have different opinions, so you're entitled to yours. I can't say that I entirely agree with you here, but it's really not a big deal in my eyes.
Hey....waitaminnit....it IS scuba! There's a thingy on her back! It's just blue so it's harder to notice. XD
