I find them immensely boring because I can learn no useful information from them. There is nothing I can take from a video game and apply to reality in a practical way. They waste time I could be using to learn something important.
Although when I was in elementary school, I did like them, but I outgrew the phase as I learned that there are so many other intriguing things you can do that provide far more mental stimulation.

I play video games sometimes up to 14 hours a day, but I do not consider myself addicted. I simply have nothing better to do with my time. For example... when I went to Hawaii, I didn't touch a single game system the entire trip, because there was better things to do.
Not really, I used to play Pokemon everyday for like a majority of the time I was awake but after finishing...it got boring so to be truthful no I'm not addicted although I do love FF Disssidia (its the only final fantasy I own XD)
